Jordan Morris could be in for a long spell on the sidelines as he suffered a potentially horrific injury on Saturday in Swansea City's game against Huddersfield Town in the English Championship.
There was no word from Swansea on the extent of the injury after the game, but Morris was seen being stretched off the field with a brace on his left leg.
The Seattle Sounders loanee entered the game at halftime but came out 20 minutes later after fell awkwardly.
"It does not look good, does it? I don't know the extent of it but we have our fingers crossed for him," said Swansea coach Steve Cooper after the game. "We will know more in the days to come, but it did not look a good one, that's for sure.
On a day when the Swans were not at their best, losing 4-1 to Huddersfield, the loss of the 26-year-old could hurt them down the line as they push for promotion to the Premier League.
Morris is no stranger to serious injuries as he missed the entire 2018 Major League Soccer season after he tore the ACL in his right knee.
