CHAD WINGER - Sunday, September 16, 2007
Peter Philipakos made his Czech debut, coming in as a substitute in the 78th minute and helping FK SIAD Most to a well earned point against UEFA Cup club FK Mlada Boleslav.
Tomas Pilar gave the guests a shock lead in the sixth minute when the defender finished past Miroslav Miller, but as Most has done in each game this season, the lead was unsafe and Jan Rajnoch tied the contest 25 minutes later.
Philipakos, who had missed the previous five matches due to injury, entered in the second half for Bundesliga target and Kenya international Patrick Oboya, and within two minutes the ex-Olympiakos player was issued a yellow card as a welcome gift.
The American would not get a chance to make an offensive contribution after Lubomir Bogdanov was shown a red card and Most was forced to survive a late Boleslav onslaught.
Next week Most hosts SK Kladno, while Mlada Boleslav host Italian high-flyers Palermo in the UEFA Cup.
