Jay DeMerit should be the only American in action on Tuesday night, but Frank Simek could be a late addition to the Sheffield Wednesday roster.

Coventry City - Watford

After charging six points clear at the top of the Championship standings this weekend, Watford travel to Coventry in hopes of continuing their three-game winning streak.

Keeper Mart Poom is back from injury, but Richard Lee may continue his time between the sticks for the Hornets, but midfielder Lee Williamson is definitely out with suspension.

American defender Jay DeMerit completed 90 minutes for Watford in their victory over Hull on Saturday, and is all-but a lock to anchor the back line Tuesday.

Coventry manager Iain Dowie has a host of players including captain Arjan De Zeeuw, David McNamee, Robert Page, Marcus Hall and Colin Hawkins back from injury and may well call on them to help end the Sky Blues two game losing streak.

Notes

Cory Gibbs will miss out again when Charlton host Plymouth Argyle at The Valley.

Frank Simek is doubtful for an appearance in Sheffield Wednesday game against Scunthorpe.
