US Soccer has announced that yet another border battle against rival Mexico is set, with the southern neighbors coming to Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas on February 6th.

The match is the second scheduled to start preparations for the beginning of World Cup qualifying in the CONCACAF region, which for the United States will begin in June. US Soccer has already announced a friendly against Sweden at the Home Depot Center on January 19th to open the year.

The US and Mexico most recently met in the final of this summer's Gold Cup, which saw the Americans hoist the trophy defeating their southern neighbors 2-1. An opening goal from Mexican Jose Andres Guardado was answered in the 62nd minute by a Landon Donovan penalty kick before a stunning Benny Feilhaber volley secured the cup for the United States eleven minutes later.

The last time thes two teams met in Houston, a sell-out crowd of 69,582 saw the two fierce rivals battle to a 0-0 draw in May 2003.

Head coach Bob Bradley and his team close out their 2007 schedule this Saturday against South Africa in Johannesburg.
