White is recovering from a broken face
Newly capped AGF Aarhus attacker Jeremiah White will miss up to a month of action after suffering a serious facial injury in training over the winter break.

White, who had a successful first tour of duty with the US national team last month culminating with his virgin appearance against Sweden, was injured while splitting two defenders in a friendly against FC Midtjylland.

"[White] sustained an unfortunate knock to the head," agent Rob Feigenson told YA. "The collision was not deliberate to the best of my knowledge, - it's just something that happens in soccer."

"He has surgery to repair three fractures in his face. He's cooped up and recovering."

AGF Aarhus, who it four points above Viborg for the last relegation spot, are currently on winter break. The Danish Superliga resumes in mid-March, and White hopes that time missed will be minimal.

"He is certainly not pleased by the setback, but he is a determined competitor," Feigenson commented. "He will not let this keep him sidelined for long."

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
