Corrales' stint at Brann was short-lived
Ramiro Corrales has finally finished his move back to the States, leaving UEFA Cup participants and reigning Norwegian champions Brann SK to sign with expansion franchise San Jose Earthquakes.

His rights were sold to the Earthquakes by the Houston Dynamo.

"Ramiro is happy to return to San Jose and play for Frank Yallop," agent Patrick McCabe told YA. "He is in San Jose now before returning to Norway next week to pack up his house."

Corrales, who has five international caps, left San Jose in November 2004 to sign with Ham-Kam. After an excellent 2006 season, Brann bought the 30-year old, but work permit issues and numerous injuries limited the American to only 11 appearances.

Prior to leaving for Europe, Corrales played for Miami Fusion and MetroStars in addition to his time in San Jose where he won two MLS Cups.
