Freddy Adu hopes to make his debut in the principality while Andrew Jacobson just wants to make his professional debut.

Monaco - Caen

Monaco welcome Caen to the Stade Louis II on Saturday night as well as their own loanee Freddy Adu.

Fresh off US Olympic team action, the 19-year old will be ready to strap on his boots and wear the #8 jersey for head coach Ricardo.

Currently in fourth with four points, AS Monaco are coming off a one goal draw at Nantes following their 1-0 win against Paris St. Germain two weeks ago.

The Normans from Caen sit in sixth and hope to ride the wave from their 3-1 dismantling of Valenciennes last Saturday.

Monaco's Leandro Cufre, Alejandro Alonso and Adriano are still recovering from injuries sustained in the match against PSG. Coach Ricardo will have to dig deep in his reserves for strikers following injuries to Serge Gakpe and Yannick Sagbo.

The Monegasques bested Caen in two encounters last season, recording a 5-2 win and a 0-0 draw.

Rennes - Lille

The Red and Blacks of Rennes welcome Lille to the Route de Lorient stadium for a Sunday afternoon duel.

Coming off a game-winning performance for the US against Guatemala, goalscorer Carlos Bocanegra is expected to get the start in coach Guy Lacombe's squad.

The Bretons hope the tides will turn after their disappointing 1-0 loss to Ligue 1's shockers Grenoble Foot 38, who sit in first place after having just been promoted.

The Lillois also hope to bounce back from their 3-1 loss to Le Mans in which Adil Rami was sent off and given a suspension for this match. Coach Rudi Garcia will however welcome back Aurelien Chedjou from the Cameroon Olympic squad.

Cameroonian teammate Stéphane Mbia has also returned to the Rennes squad from Olympic duty, but with an injury to his quadriceps that will keep him on the bench.

Notes

Andrew Jacobson will miss out due to injury when Lorient travel to Valenciennes

Quentin Westberg will be the backup when Troyes visit Vannes.
