Marco Vidal and struggling Indios are still looking for that elusive first victory of the season as they take on Cruz Azul on the road, while Edgar Castillo hopes to continue his stellar play for Tigres when they take on his former team America.

Atlas - SanLuis

A defensive battle can be expected when San Luis visits Estadio Jalisco on Saturday. With both teams being in the bottom four in scoring this season, goals should prove difficult to come by.

Michael Orozco will likely get the start as a central defender again, as the young American looks to continue his impressive play.

San Luis comes into the match hoping to establish a consistent upward trend in a season that has been a roller coaster ride. Atlas, on the other hand, comes into this game starving for a victory after two losses and a tie in their last three games.

Ricardo La Volpe will have access to his full team, while Juan Antonio Luna and Tigres will be without Ignacio Torres and Eduardo Coudet due to injury.

Cruz Azul - Indios

A depleted Cruz Azul will hope to find inspiration from the home crowd when it hosts a mightily struggling Indios team on Saturday in Estadio Azul.

Marco Vidal will once again get the start at center midfield for Indios, as he and his teammates hope to get their seemingly impossible first win of the season.

Cruz Azul comes into the match having played its best game of the season a week ago in route to a 3-0 victory over Morelia. However, they will have to rely on some inexperienced players as Christian Riveros, Ramn Nunez, Gerardo Torrado, and Jesus Corona will all be missing due to national team duties.

Indios will have a full team, while Cesar Villaluz, who is nursing an injury, will be the only other absentee for Cruz Azul.

Tigres - America

For a team that has played excellent soccer at times during this young season, it comes as a huge surprise that Tigres will be searching for their first win at home when America comes to Estadio Universitario this weekend.

Edgar Castillo is coming off another solid performance in which he scored on an incredible volley, and will start the game at left back for Tigres once again.

America comes into the game on cloud nine after a 7-2 demolishing of Toluca that sent a message to the league announcing the return of the sleeping giant.

Tigres will be without Lucas Lobos and Lucas Ayala because of nagging injuries, and Jose Antonio Castro because of national team responsibilities. Guillermo Ochoa, Oscar Rojas, Salvador Cabanas, and Jean Beaseajour also have been called upon to represent their national teams and will miss the match for America.

Notes

Paco Torres will be suiting up for the US national team once again, causing him to miss the game against Jaguares.
