CHRISTOPHER ANDERSON - Friday, February 19, 2010
The Black and Golds roll into the Greek capital on Sunday riding the momentum from their past two wins and aim to make a return to the fourth spot in the Super League standings, with Freddy Adu and Eddie Johnson both expected to feature.

Freddy Adu is expected to get the start and will be on the hunt for his third straight game with a goal. Eddie Johnson will likely come off the bench and work his way into the starting eleven.

Aris sit in fifth with 35 and a point behind the Athenians, recent 2-1 winners over Panthrakikos. Dutch defender Youssouf Hersi and Argentine Nacho Scocco provided the offense for AEK, while Sebastián Saja fended off the Panthrakikos comeback attempt in between the posts.

AEK coach Dušan Bajević will be without the services of Polish international Roger Guerrero, who is on personal leave in his native Brazil. On-loan Liverpool striker Krisztián Németh is still on the road to recovery and will miss Sunday's match.

Hector Cuper has fewer injuries to worry about following the return of Mahdi Nafti and Dario Fernandez in Wednesday's 3-0 Greek Cup win over Skoda Xanthi. The only certain absentee will be leading scorer Javier Campora, serving a yellow card suspension. French newcomer Camel Meriem could make his second appearance in the black and gold in spite of a broken nose.

The two teams shared the spoils of of a one-goal draw in their previous meeting this season last October.
