Former USL 2 All Star Jonathan Borrajo is moving onto the next chapter in his quest to find a home abroad, trialing with English based outfit Walsall FC.

After initial reports suggested that the Real Maryland Monarchs defender impressed in his two week trial at Ljungskile, the Swedish Superettan elected to not move forward with the American.

But now Borrajo says a new opportunity has sprung up in England with the Saddlers.

"Walsall FC have contacted me after the club's football consultant expressed interest after seeing me play recently," he recently revealed to Yanks Abroad.

Walsall are competing in Coca Cola League One where the club sits in ninth place and are nine points out of the playoff positions.

Even though the former George Mason standout will be out to showcase his skills to the West Midlands club, he still insists that there is a chance he could wind up back in Sweden.

"Sweden is still in the picture. [It] seems the club was considering their options and doing what is best for Llungskile, which is understandable. But I am considering all my options, keeping Sweden in mind," he concluded.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
