Norwegian 1. Division club Lov-Ham have indicated that they will not be extending a contract offer to current Colorado Rapids player Rob Valentino.

The former University of San Francisco standout has received very little playing time in MLS and was hoping that a trial with the Scandinavian club would parlay into contract and more minutes on the field.

But the Illinois native was unable to impress Lov-Ham officials and a loan agreement between Colorado and Lov-Ham will not be transpiring.

"Lov-Ham will not offer Rob Valentino a contract," confirmed Lov-Ham team spokesman Tom Mangersnes to YA.

Valentino will return to Colorado in hops of making an impact this season with the Rapids who begin their 2010 season against Chivas USA on March 26th.
