JOHNSON OUT WITH HAMSTRING INJURY
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
ANDREW VORCE - Monday, March 8, 2010
Jemal Johnson has been ruled out of the Stockport County squad for the next two to three weeks after straining his hamstring during Stockport's 1-0 defeat at Bristol Rovers last Tuesday.

The club expects the on-loan player from Milton Keynes Dons to be on the sidelines until the end of March.

"Jemal has a hamstring injury and will be out two to three weeks," Stockport Press officer Des Hinks told Yanks Abroad.

The American only lasted 39 minutes in the away trip, after having an initially strong showing. Jeff Hughes scored the game sonly goal in the 30th, just before the American was forced into a substitution, making way for Richie Patridge.

Stockport travels to Chalrton this weekend, then has three home games against Gillingham, Oldham, and Brentford.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
