RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
JON VAN WAGENEN - Monday, May 17, 2010
The Allsvenskan teams will join the fray of Sweden's cup competition this week with Michael Thomas and Johann Smith getting a chance to shine against lower league competition.

Ängelholms FF - Halmstads BK

Superettan club Ängelholm hosts Halmstad on Tuesday

Halmstad will be looking to balance the cup competition with an upcoming match against league leaders Helsingborg.

Ryan Miller has been the steady right back all season and may be due for a rest.

Michael Tomas has had two starts and three substitute appearances and the 21-year old could get another chance to show his stuff.

Ljungskile - Djurgården

Nick Noble will start in net and Ljungskile will get a chance to test themselves against Stockhom's Djurgården.

Ljungskile have advanced to this rounds by eliminating lower division teams Qviding FIF and Gunnilse IS in matching 1-2 victories.

Trollhättan - Kalmar

Johann Smith and Kalmar travel to the western Sweden for a match with Superettan club Trollhättan Wednesday.

Smith may finally get a chance to run with the first team after a season mostly on the bench.

Smith played 80 minutes in a Monday night youth match win over Helsingborg where he picked up an early yellow card.

Notes

IFK Norrköping FK and Örebro play May 25th, without Alejandro Bedoya.
