TRAFTON KENNEY - Thursday, May 27, 2010
Daniel Antunez and FC Inter take a break from Veikkausliiga action and turn their attention to the Finnish Cup as they take on lower division KPV Kokkola while Greg Eckhardt and VPS square off against MyPA.

FC Inter - KPV Kokkola

Daniel Antunez and FC Inter face KPV Kokkola in the sixth round of the Finnish Cup this Thursday at Center Field.

While FC Inter lifted the cup in 2009, they have struggled early on this season. The team has failed to win one of their past four games and currently sit in 13th place in the Veikkausliiga standings with only five points to show from six games.

FC Inter Coach Job Dragtsma will hope his team does not underestimate their opponent KPV who are currently in third place in the Ykkonen, the second division of Finland.

They have lost only once in five games, falling 2-1 to Espoo on May 8th.

Antunez played 46 minutes during last week's 2-0 loss to Tampere United and is expected to start again in midfield.

Forward Timo Furuholmen is also expected to start after recovering from injury earlier this season.

VPS - MyPa

Greg Eckhardt will hope to play this Thursday as well as VPS face MyPA in the sixth round of the Finnish Cup at Sandviken.

Both Eckhardt and Brian Pope, currently out with a shoulder injury, failed to make the bench last weekend in the 2-0 win over KuPS.

The game promises to be a competitive affair with both teams separated by just a point in the standings with VPS in ninth place and MyPa in tenth.

VPS' defense, led by Jussi Äijälä, will be wary of the threat posed by MyPa players like Ville Saxmanin and Antti Okkonen.
