Midfielder Michael Thomas has landed with another team in Sweden signing with Superettan club Ljungskile until the end of the season.

Thomas had been with Allsvenskan club Hamlstads BK before receiving his release earlier this month.

The Olathe, Kansas native had been on trial earlier this week and has reached an agreement with the club.

"Michael Thomas has signed with Ljungskile for the remainder of the 2010 season," confirmed Thomas' representative, Eddie Rock of Libero Sports to YA.

The former Notre Dame standout will join fellow American Nick Noble on the squad as Ljungskile seek promotion to the Allsvenskan.

Ljungskile currently sit in fifth place in the league standings with 20 points, just three points shy of first place IFK Norrköping FK.

Thomas appeared in five matches for Halmstads, with two of those coming in starts.
