Greg Eckhardt and VPS look to build off the momentum from last week's win when they host FC Honka on Sunday in Vaasa.

VPS - FC Honka

Eckhardt started and went the full 90 minutes in Monday's win surprise win over KuPS.

He should be expected to receive another starting nod when the two teams clash at Hietalahti Stadium.

Fellow American Brian Pope is still sidelined with a shoulder injury and will be unavailable for the hosts.

VPS currently sit in eighth position in the Veikkausliiga and will need to shake off their tendency of stringing together several losses if they want to make a run towards a European berth.

Jussi Aalto and Pekka Kaina will have to be the central figures to accomplish that. The two forwards have a combined 12 goals on the season.

Honka are currently second in the league standings and had been rolling until last week's upset loss at home versus JJK.

They will surely be motivated to claim the three points against Eckhardt and company on Sunday.

Jami Pusstinen spearheads the Honka attack with nine goals on the season.

Valtter Laaksonen is out for the hosts while Honka appear to have a full squad.

Notes

Daniel Antunez is still injured and will miss FC Inter's contest at AC Oulu.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
