RICH FIDLER - Monday, August 30, 2010
Helmond Sport went on the road and grabbed a victory thanks to an early goal from Brazilian Bruno Andrade, their third successive 1-0 victory.

Charles Kazlauskas once again played a role in the right side of midfield for head coach Jürgen Streppel at GN Bouw Stadion.

Andrade provided the winning goal, this time scoring in just the fourth minute and then watching as the Helmond defense closed the door on the home team time and again.

The Brazilian was played through the FC Dordrecht defense by midfielder Ilja Van Leerdam, and with goalkeeper Nick Van der Ploeg closing down space Andrade chipped the ball into the back of the net.

The home team made things difficult on themselves in the 22nd minute when striker Raily Ignacio was shown a straight red card for striking defender Philipp Haastrup in the face with a high kick.

Helmond will once again be on the road this Friday when they face the Go Ahead Eagles who are coming off a 2-1 victory against newly promoted Almere City FC.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
