Jeremiah White received his first start with new club GKS Belchatow who downed Concordia Piotrków Trybunalski in the second round of the Polish Cup on Tuesday evening.
White started up front for the visitors and went the first 84 minutes before yielding his spot to Bartłomiej Bartosiak.
It was his second appearance with the club after featuring in the final 12 minutes of Belchatow's Saturday Ekstraklasa defeat to Górnik Zabrze.
The match at Piotrków Trybunalski City Stadium saw the home team, who plays in the II Liga Grupa Wschodnia, otherwise known as the Polish third division, come out and fight hard against their first division rivals.
Clearly inspired by the words of Belchatow head coach Maciej Bartoszek who noted that it would be a major embarassment if his squad lost to Concordia, Piotrków Trybunalski made life difficult for White and company until the 20th minute.
It was then that Brazilian forward managed to find the back of the net and give Belchatow a lead they would never surrender.
White was active in his time on the field but found it difficult to leverage his speed and quickness against a defense that allowed very little space.
Bartoszek did allude to White's play after the match and all signs point towards the American seeing much more action in the upcoming league and cup campaigns.
Belchatow return to action this weekend when they host giants Wisla Kraków.
