CHRISTOPHER ANDERSON - Sunday, September 26, 2010
Ljungskile's Johan Patriksson provided the fireworks once again netting two goals and a second half equalizer to keep six points out of relegation.
American Michel Thomas resumed his role at right back in 90 minutes of action, while compatriot Nick Noble minded the posts and watched two slip in.
Patriksson recorded his sixth and seventh goals of the season, the first coming in the 22nd minute when he nodded in a cross from Genalvo da Silva Oliveira past Johannes Hopf for the 1-0 lead.
Noble became the next keeper to watch the ball hit the back of the net in the 31st minute after misjudging the ball and leaving Hammarby's Sebastian Castro-Tello with an easy conversion.
Five minutes before the break, Christer Gustafsson added another for the visitors in the Starke Arvid Arena after heading past Noble following a Hammarby build-up.
Match captain Martin Smedberg-Dalence help set up Ljungskile's eventual equalizer in the 73rd minute after curling a freekick over the wall for Patriksson to head in for the 2-2 final.
With three games left and on 38 points, Ljungskile can assure themselves a spot in the Superettan next season with a win next Monday at the relegation-bound Jönköpings Södra IF.
