Ryan Miller was the only American in Allsvenskan to see action in a win while Alejandro Bedoya served a suspension and awaited national team duty. Both Nick Noble and Michel Thomas brought Ljungskile to victory.

Halmstads BK 2 – 0 IF Brommapojkarna

Halmstad manhandled a helpless Brommapojkarna squad staring at relegation on Sunday night in Halmstad's Örjans Vall stadium.

American Ryan Miller saw his usual 90 minutes in the backline in the win for Halmstad who now hold the 11th spot in the standings.

Joe Sise wasted no time in getting the hosts on the scoreboard slotting the ball home in the 2nd minute after the visitors were unable to clear. Sise was allowed to slip through at the top of the box, catch up with the loose ball in front of keeper Kristoffer Nordfelt, and hammer it home for the early and easy 1-0 lead.

Jonas Gudni Saevarsson provided the other scoring drive with a golazo in the 37th minute. Corralling a pass on the left side from Mikael Rosén, Saevarsson crossed the top of the box and smacked a 20-yard screamer inside the left post of Norfelt's net for the 2-0 final score.

With the win, Halmstad continue to hover seven points above relegation and will look for another one after the international break at Mjällby AIF with four games to go.

Jönköpings Södra IF 0 – 3 Ljungskile SK

Jönköping's hopes vanished in the space of four minutes in Stadsparksvallen after conceding two first-half goals, only to let in a third seconds before the final whistle.

Nick Noble tended the netting in the shutout while Michel Thomas played another full 90 in the win.

David Durmaz was allowed to sneak in a solo effort in the 25th minute only to be followed up four minutes later by Gabriel Altemark-Vannery's 13th goal of the season.

Having set up the second goal, Martin Smedberg-Dalence did the same on the final play of the game, servicing 88th minute sub Arash Bayat for the 3-0 win.

Ljungskile host Väsby United in two weeks time, and have only honor to play for with two games to go and a ticket booked for next season's Superettan.

Bedoya was not in uniform as he watched his teammates concede late in a 2-1 loss to BK Häcken, narrowing the gap of keeping them Europa League-bound to seven.
