A tricky test awaits Eugene Starikov and Tomsk who play host to fellow relegation strugglers Alaniya Vladikavkaz on Saturday afternoon at Trud Stadium in Tomsk.
Starikov is set to start another match at striker for the Russian Premier League's 10th placed team who can avoid relegation all together with a win.
The Russian-American forward has now appeared in six matches thus far since his loan from parent club Zenit St. Petersburg.
The Florida native will be out to add to his goal total of one on the season.
Although they are separated by five places in the RPL standings, the Siberians know they cannot take the Alanskiye Barsy lightly.
Alaniya are desperate for the three points as they currently sit in 15th and occupy the final relegation position with just three matches left in the season.
Dmitri Smirnov is back from suspension for Tomsk giving head coach Valeri Nepomniachi a full roster while Alaniya also welcome back team captain David Bugulov from suspension.
