Christian Camacho and Sfintul Gheorghe climbed out of Moldova's Divizia Nationala cellar with a huge away win downing Dinamo Bender on the artifical turf at Chisinau's Stadionul CPTF on Saturday.
Camacho started once again for Sfintul putting in a full 90 minutes at midfielder.
It was a critical three points for the New York City nativ's squad who were sitting in last place coming into the match and facing relegation.
After this win, Sfintul sit in 12th place, two points ahead of Nistru and Gagauziya.
Sfintul's hero of the day turned out to be Dmytro Kryvyy who scored both goals.
The first strike came in the 37th minute when Kryvyy was left alone by the Dinamo defense in the area and smacked a header in off of Petru Ojog's corner kick.
The Ukranian midfielder then found the back of the net again in the 65th minute after some hard work by Mihail Platica.
Platica fought through the Dinamo defense before sliding in a pass to Kryvyy who slotted home to effectively seal the match.
Camacho and Sfintul will aim to stretch their unbeaten run to three games next week when they host seventh-placed Rapid.
