Goalkeeper Matt Pyzdrowski becomes the latest yank to suit up in Sweden after agreeing to a contract with Superettan club Angelholms FF.

Pyzdrowski had been on trial at Angelholms the past week where he performed well in a 3-2 exhibition win over Trelleborgs.

The 24 year old netminder is a native of Hinsdale, Illinois and was a standout for Marquette University.

Pyzdrowski turned professional in 2010 and latched on with the Portland Timbers of the USL where he started three matches.

Now, the former Golden Eagle will ply his trade in Scandinavia for Angelholms who will be looking to improve off of last year's disappointing 12th place finish.

"It's official that Matt Pyzdrowski signed a two year deal with Ängelholms FF," confirmed Angelholms Sporting Director Pavlos Nikolaidis.

Pyzdrowski and Angelholms begin their 2011 campaign on April 11th versus Brage.
