Week 10 in the Mexican Clausura kicks off with Isaac Acuna and Gallos Blancos hosting Edgar Castillo's Puebla while Pachuca's yank duo of Jose Francisco Torres and Herculez Gomez welcome in Atlante.

Gallos Blancos – Puebla

An excellent opportunity to claim three points awaits Isaac Acuna and Gallos Blancos as they welcome in Puebla to Estadio La Corregidora on Saturday.

Acuna looks set to make a fourth consecutive start for the Queretaro-based club at his attacking midfielder position.

After scoring the previous two weeks, the Californian's goal streak came to a halt in last weekend's 2-0 loss at Monterrey.

Countryman Edgar Castillo is likely to start this one on the bench for Puebla but should be one of the first defensive options off the bench for coach Hector Hugo Eugui.

Gallos Blancos sit in rock bottom in Mexico's general standings and need to start scoring goals and winning games to avoid any threat of relegation to the dreaded Liga de Ascenso.

Puebla have not fared much better on the campaign with just 10 points through 10 weeks and a measly six goals scored.

Neither squad is reporting any injuries.

Pachuca – Atlante

There is no time like the present for Pachuca who must win on Saturday against Atlante if they want to even entertain thoughts of reaching Mexico's postseason.

American midfielder Jose Francisco Torres can expect to receive another start for the Tuzos who are desperate to kickstart their offense.

Only Necaxa shares such a beleaguered attack as the one possessed by Pachuca with just five goals scored on the season.

Torres' compatriot, forward Herculez Gomez, has yet to find the back of the net this season and will likely be starting this one on the bench.

Pachuca's struggles have paved the way for a coaching change and the new man in charge is former Chivas coach Efrain Flores.

Flores' arrival has come with promises of positive results combined with an attractive style of play.

Leobardo Lopez is out for Pachuca while Atlante will be without Ever Alfaro.

Jonathan Bornstein will hope to see time off the bench for Tigres who face San Luis.

Daniel Antunez and Sammy Ochoa are unlikely to play when Estudiantes head south to Chiapas to play Jaguares.

Adrian Ruelas will aim to see even more minutes for Santos after making his debut last weekend. Santos travel to Toluca on Sunday.
