Action continues this weekend in the Turkish 1. Lig with Freddy Adu looking to score again for Rizespor who welcome in Altay to Yeni Rize Şehir Stadi on Sunday.

Adu is expected to start at midfielder and will look to build off of last week's success where he scored the gamewinner against Akhisar Belediyespor.

Currently Rizespor are second with 43 points and trail first place Samsunspor by a single point.

In five matches with Rize, Adu has tallied two goals and has helped key an unbeaten run that has kept Rizespor in the mix for a promotion spot.

The ever-tightening 1. Lig has six teams all within three points of each other with just two automatic promotion spots up for grabs.

Three points at home against Altay will be a must for Adu and company should they want to cling to one of those promotion spots.

The scoring chances will come for Adu on Sunday as Altay come into the match with one of the more porous defenses in Turkey's second flight.

The guests have allowed a total of 30 goals on the season and currently are 11th.

Both coaches are expected to field full squads.
