Frank Simek and Carlisle United welcome in Brentford while Mike Grella and Swindon Town host League One leaders Brighton in a limited slate of weekend English action.

Carlisle United Brentford

Frank Simek and Carlisle United travel to play Brentford in Friday night League One action.

Simek is a regular for the Cumbrians and will once again start at defender.

Carlisle are nine points from the last playoff spot and have only lost one of their last five league games. They hope to keep their momentum for a final push towards promotion.

The Cumbrians look to be without Danny Livesey who is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Harry Arter and Liam Noble though will return to Carlisle's lineup.

Brentford are only three points from Carlisle and look to tie them with a win. They beat Leyton Orient last week and are looking to make it two in a row.

They will be without Richard Lee who is suffering from a shoulder injury. Charlie MacDonald and Robbie Simpson will both miss as well with ankle problems.

Swindon Town Brighton

Mike Grella and Swindon Town take on league leaders Brighton in League One play.

Grella has received regular playing time since arriving on loan and should again feature for Swindon.

Town are currently in the relegation zone and six points from safety. A win against first place Brighton would boost morale and help their climb out relegation.

They will be without Scott Cuthbert who has a fractured cheekbone. Vincent Pericard and Milan Misun will also miss due to knee injuries.

Brighton have a large lead in the standings are a looking at Championship action for next season.

They will be without Adam El-Abd, Chris Wood, Jamie Smith, and Jim McNulty.

Wycombe Wanderers Morecambe

Jon-Paul Pittman and the Wycombe Wanderers take on Morecambe in weekend League Two action.

Pittman has regularly featured for the Chairboys, coming off the bench in Wycombe's last few games. The American should again feature this Saturday.

Wycombe are looking to win only their second game in six and will need to in order to keep pace for promotion.

They look to be without Chris Westwood who is suffering from a muscle tear.

Morecambe are in the bottom half of the standings and will need a win to distance themselves from the relegation zone.

Stewart Drummond is suspended for Morecambe.
