PREVIEW: WEEKEND TURKISH ACTION
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
CHRISTOPHER ANDERSON - Friday, April 22, 2011
Jozy Altidore and Bursaspor will look to lock up their place in the Europa League while Freddy Adu will have time for an Easter egg hunt on Rizespor's weekend off.

Bursaspor – Manisaspor

The Green Crocodiles regroup in Bursa on Saturday afternoon as they host Manisaspor in their pursuit to solidify participation in the Europa League next season.

Following his scoring breakthrough two weekends ago, the Jozy Altidore will look to hit the back of the net again after coming up empty last weekend in a loss to Trabzonspor.

Manisa sit currently in 11th and are coming off a disappointing 2-3 loss to Galatasaray in which their scoring was too little too late.

Although Bursa sit in 3rd after 29 games, their train headed to Champions League qualification is leaving the station with 15 points separating them from second-place Fenerbahçe. Having defeated Manisa in their previous outing by a score of 2-0, the Crocs need points to defend their three-point edge on fourth-spot Gaziantepspor.

Bursa keeper Dimitar Ivankov has regained fitness after a slight knock and Kenny Miller has gotten rid of the flu for Sunday's game.

Manisaspor also face no major injury worries.

Notes

Freddy Adu and Rizespor have the Easter weekend off as their scheduled opponents BB Ankaraspor had their season called off early.
