CHRISTOPHER ANDERSON - Friday, April 29, 2011
Jozy Altidore and Bursaspor take on a potentially dangerous Kayserispor while Freddy Adu and Rizespor hope to keep their promotional hopes alive against Adanaspor.

Kayserispor – Bursaspor

Bursaspor make the long trip out east on Sunday evening to pay a visit to a potentially dangerous Kayserispor squad.

After coming on as a late substitute last weekend, Jozy Altidore will wait to see if he makes the starting lineup for coach Ertugrul Saglam.

The Green Crocs were victorious is last weekend's outing at home against Manisaspor, a 2-1 final with goals from Ömer Erdogan and Sercan Yildirim.

Their adversaries in seventh-place Kayseri are not a squad to take lightly following their 1-1 result at Galatasaray, who are having a forgettable season.

Neither squad faces notable injury concerns.

Adanaspor – Rizespor

Rizespor return to action on Sunday following a mandatory break last weekend, with a Sunday drive to Adanaspor.

American Freddy Adu can expect to see action either as a starter or a substitute.

Rize sit in fifth with 48 points, and have three games left to make a miraculous push for direct promotion to the Super Lig. Otherwise, they must defend their position in the promotion playoff zone, with only a two-point buffer keeping them in.

As for the hosts, Adana are looking up from the twelfth spot with 31 points, and are trying to bouce back form a 1-0 loss last week at Gaziantep BB.

The only major absence will be Liberian midfielder Theo Weeks, Adu's sidekick in the Rize midfield.
