Soccer returns to Belgium tonight when Anderlecht travels the short distance to take on newcomers Oud-Heverlee Leuven.

After spending a part of his summer break with the US national team in Gold Cup action, midfielder Sacha Kljestan will start his sophomore season with Les Mauves who finished in third place last season.

As expected in a season opener, Andrelecht are not reporting any injuries as they get their 2011-2012 underway at Stadion Den Dreef. Midfielder Lucas Biglia however has not yet returned to Brussels after taking part in the Copa America for Argentina. He should rejoin the team next week.

After winning the Tweede Klasse championship last season OHL, which formed back in 2002 when the city's three lower league teams came together as one, will bring top-flight soccer to this university city for the first time in 61 years.

Head coach Ronny Van Geneugden is also reporting a full strength team for this very difficult and much anticipated clash.

OHL is in Flanders. So the spelling of the city name should be the Flemish Leuven rather than the French Louvain. Having spent a year studying there and as perhaps the only fervent OHL supporter in the US, I want to see our moment in the sun captured properly:)
