After leaving Traffic Sports earlier this summer, former US U-20 left back Gregory Garza is now on trial at Norwegian club Valerenga who currently play in Norway's top division, the Tippeligaen

Garza, 19, is coming off a trial with Finnish club FC Honka and arrived in Norway earlier on Monday.

"It wasn't a fit for Greg and the club," Garza's agent Chris Megaloudis told YA on Monday. "But he enjoyed the time at Honka."

Garza's first step in his Valerenga trial was a difficult one as he was named to the club's roster to face Liverpool on the same day he arrived. Garza ended up playing the entire second half in a 3-3 draw.

"[Valerenga] invited him in for a few days," Megaloudis added. "He landed and played today. Depending on feedback tomorrow we will see how he proceeds. He played well in his 45 minutes today against Liverpool - nice stage playing against Kuyt, Aquilani and Carroll to prove yourself."

Garza is currently without a club after he parted ways with Portuguese club Estoril last season.

When did he sign with Traffic? Last I hear he was with Sporting CP and then all of sudden he appeared at Estoril this summer. Did he actually sign with Traffic? If so: when? Was he just starting talks this summer after his contract with Sporting? Was he loaned to sporting by traffic?
