TAHARKA TAYLOR - Tuesday, August 16, 2011
The English lower leagues are in action Tuesday night as Robbie Findley and Nottingham Forest take on Doncaster Rovers while Anton Peterlin and Walsall FC travel to take on Sheffield United.

Doncaster Rovers - Nottingham Forest

Robbie Findley and Nottingham Forest head to South Yorkshire when they take on Doncaster Rovers Tuesday.

Findley started at forward over the weekend but newly arrived striker Ishmael Miller adds more competition to an ongoing battle for a regular starting spot that Findley has yet to secure.

Miller did not suit up when West Ham defeated Doncaster 1 - 0 at home last Saturday.

Doncaster's Billy Sharp is doubtful as the forward continues to recover from a leg injury while James Hayter is also questionable due to a knee injury.

Ishmael Miller is available after completing his move from West Ham on Monday and could make his Nottingham Forest debut. Paul Anderson is out with a groin injury.

Sheffield United - Walsall

Anton Peterlin could be in Dean Smith's starting eleven when Walsall travel to face Sheffield United.

Peterlin started and contributed 82 minutes in midfield in Walsall's 1 - 1 draw on the road at Hartlepool United last Saturday. With impressive performances throughout the preseason as well as through the first two weeks of the League One season Peterlin's chances of becoming a regular in the first team look good.

Sheffield summer signing Chris Porter is out with a leg contusion while newly signed Ryan Flynn is also out with a tight hamstring.

Walsall captain Andy Butler is appealing the red card shown to him on Saturday at Hartlepool with an outcome expected to be decided sometime leading up to kick off. If the red card is upheld, Butler will be facing a three-game suspension effective immediately.

Adam Chambers is definitely ruled out as the forward serves the second game of his three-game suspension after receiving a straight red card against Middlesbrough last weeks Carling Cup match up.

Jon-Paul Pittman will likely be the first substitute off the bench for Oxford United as they take on Shrewsbury Town.

Jemal Johnson will most likely start on the bench but could see action as Southend United travel to face Crawley Town.
