Linz enter the second quarter of the season against the opponent from their season opener, and will look to make up for ground lost earlier in the week.

Shawn Barry can expect to see some time in the backline, and may make the start in place of Florian Hart, who had a forgettable game last Monday.

Falling 3-2 to the current leaders WAC/St. Andrä, Linz slipped to third place, and sit five points adrift of the lead in the Erste Liga.

The Vorarlbergers were buzzing last week over the acquisition of Eto'o, not Samuel, but his younger brother Etienne. The Cameroonian could make his first appearance in the blue and white. In addition, defender Dennis Mimm will return from yellow-card suspension.

Linz coach Walter Schachner has no major injury concerns in his squad, and may get a look at new Brazilian signing Luiz Henrique de Oliveira.

Their first meeting in Vorarlberg ended in a 1-1 tie, with Harald Unverdorben opened the scoring for Linz, and Stefan Riess equalizing with 20 minutes to go.
