PREVIEW: SKN ST. POLTEN - LASK LINZ
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
CHRISTOPHER ANDERSON - Friday, September 2, 2011
LASK head east to the Lower Austrian capital to maintain pressure on league-leaders WAC/St. Andra, now just a win away.

Following his first start in last Friday's 2-1 win over FC Lustenau, American defender Shawn Barry can expect to get another nod from coach Walter Schachner in his starting eleven.

St. Polten are trying to get their season in gear, hovering in seventh with 12 points after a trio of wins and a trio of draws. Their latest outing was against the league-leaders, a 1-1 draw thanks to a goal from Spaniard Daniel Lucas Segovia, his team-leading fifth of the season.

St. Polten coach Martin Scherb will have fewer absentees following the return of Peter Brandl, Dominik Hofbauer from yellow card accumulation. Yet, keeper Thomas Vollnhofer will still be out three more weeks with a kidney injury.

Free of major injury concerns, Linz will look to repeat their performance when the two clubs met on the Gugl in Linz, a 2-0 win for the hosts.
