MICHAEL ADUBATO - Monday, September 5, 2011
On the eve of the USA's game against Belgium, defender Steve Cherundolo assessed the Belgians, captained by Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen.

"They're a very good team," the Hannover 96 captain told YA. "They have really really young talented players."

Although recognizing that the youthful team has been unlucky in terms of collecting points as they hope to book a place in next summer Euro 2012 in Poland and the Ukraine, he sees no reason to underestimate them.

"They have a lot of potential, so we expect a really good team. They're a team that are probably better in friendlies than in qualifiers because in a friendly you can play and you don't have as much pressure."

"Any time a young team doesn't have any pressure they usually show what they can do so I expect a very good team tomorrow."

Cherundolo and the US kickoff at 2:00 EST on Tuesday afternoon.
