PREVIEW: FALKIRK - RANGERS
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
ANDREW VORCE - Tuesday, September 20, 2011
Alejandro Bedoya, Carlos Bocanegra, and Maurice Edu take their first bite out of the Scottish League Cup as the Third Round pits Rangers away against Falkirk.

Rangers could be in trouble as NIkica Jelavic and Kyle Lafferty may miss out due to injury. The pair scored in the weekends Old Firm clash between Rangers and Celtic with the Gers coming out 4-2 victors. Unfortunately for the goalscorers they picked up a knock during the game and are struggling for fitness.

Falkirk, a league below their midweek opponents, are off the back of a 2-1 win over Dundee at home. The Scottish First Division team recently signed Celtic's Mark Millar as they look to bolster their squad after letting star strikers Pedro Moutinho and Enoch Showunmi go after being relegated.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
