PREVIEW: HALMSTADS BK - MALMÖ FF
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
JOHN KRETLOW - Tuesday, September 20, 2011
Ryan Miller and Halmstads BK look for three points against Malmö FF in Wednesday Allsvenskan action.

Miller started and went the distance in Halmstads' weekend loss to Kalmar FF. The American has been left on the bench for most of the season but has featured in Halmstads' last two games and could see playing time on Wednesday.

Halmstads is in last place in the Allsvenskan and ten points from safety. They will try and reverse their luck this midweek and garner three points, as their chance to stay in the Swedish top flight dwindles after every loss.

Malmö is coming off a tie to Trelleborg FF and is 13 points form the last European spot. They have won one in their last four games.

Kutjim Bala left Halmstads' weekend game early due to injury and is questionable to feature.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
