JOHN KRETLOW - Friday, October 14, 2011
Matt Pyzdrowski and Ängelholms FF look to keep their promotion dreams in tact against Värnamo while Brian Edwards and Degerfors IF still have a shot at promotion and will take on Falkenberg FF.

Värnamo - Ängelholms FF

Matt Pyzdrowski and Ängelholms FF take on Värnamo in a pivotal Superettan matchup this weekend.

Pyzdrowski started and went the distance in Ängelholms' last game and he is likely to feature once again.

With only two games left in the season, Ängelholms is in third place, which is a promotion qualifier position, but they are only two points from an automatic promotion spot. A win is almost necessary if they are to contend for the automatic spot.

Värnamo are four points from the relegation zone and will also be in need of three points to ensure their spot in net year's Superettan season.

American Lester Dewee looks to miss the rest of the season due to injury. Jonas Nilsson, Antonio Rojas and Gabriel Ucar are all injured as well and questionable to take part for Ängelholms.

Donald Wellington will miss due to suspension for Värnamo.

Degerfors IF - Falkenberg FF

Brian Edwards and Degerfors IF take on Falkenberg FF in a crucial Superettan matchup.

Edwards started and went the distance in Degerfors' last game. He is likely to feature once again this Saturday.

Degerfors are currently on the outside looking in on the promotion picture. They are in fourth place and five points from the promotion qualifier spot. With two games left they will need to win out and get some help from other teams.

Falkenberg are five points from the relegation zone and they will need a win this weekend to distance themselves from the pack.

Ljungskile SK - IK Brage

Nick Noble and Ljungskile SK take on IK Brage in Superettan play this Sunday.

Noble started and played ninety minutes last week. He is likely to start once again.

American Michael Thomas missed last week's game and is questionable to feature against Brage.

Ljungskile are in sixth place in the Superettan with two games left in the season. They are mathematically out of the promotion picture and are in no threat of reaching the relegation zone.

Brage are in a relegation playoff spot and just three points from an automatic relegation spot. They will need a win to ensure a chance at Superettan soccer next season.

Sam Petrone hopes to dress as Mjällby takes on Trelleborg FF.

Ryan Miller hopes to feature in Halmstad's game against Djurgarden.
