Jozy Altidore returns to Europe following the international break, while Charles Kazlauskas and Helmond Sport will head on the road Friday evening against Maastricht.

Ajax Amsterdam - AZ Alkmaar

First place AZ Alkmaar will travel to Amsterdam on Saturday for a crucial game against Ajax on Saturday afternoon at the Amsterdam ArenA.

Altidore returns to Holland following an unsuccessful two games for the United States during the international window which saw him play two full halves of action

Alkmaar will be without Ruud Boymans following angle surgery on Tuesday, the Dutch striker is expected to miss a minimum of four weeks after the procedure to clean out some damage in his angle.

Ajax sit six points behind the visiting league leaders and will be without Icelandic international Kolbeinn Sigthórsson thru December following ankle problems of his own. The 21-year old striker was injured in their 1-0 loss to FC Groningen.

Meanwhile Belgium's Toby Alderweireld returned from international duty with his own injury that will keep him out of this weekends game.

Maastricht - Helmond Sport

Helmond's last league game was a 1-0 victory against FC Den Bosch at home on September 30th and they sit four points behind league leading FC Zwolle and FC Eindhoven.

Kazlauskas will undoubtedly start the game as a wide midfielder for head coach Hans de Koning, a position the Wisconsin native has grown in to over the last season and a half.

Daniel Guijo-Velasco returned for their victory over Den Bosch and has certainly retained his central position in the midfield although the visitors will be without midfielder Ayden Kuijpers due to a long-term knee injury suffered in training.

The home team sits level on points with Helmond Sport and are coming off an impressive 1-0 victory over the league leaders FC Eindhoven thanks to a lone goal from second-half substitute Michael Rosa.

Head coach René Trost is lead by dangerous striker Prince Rajcomar and captain Tom Daemen, who anchors the midfield for the Sterrendragers.
