US Soccer today announced that the US national team will take on France on Friday, November 11 at State de France in Paris.

For US national team, it will be their second game on European soil under Jurgen Klinsmann. In September, the USMNT were defeated by Belgium 1-0 in Brussels.

The US team has struggled under Klinsmann having wong just once in five games. During that span they have scored only two goals.

France will be looking to use the game as part of their initial preparation for the 2012 European Championship. Earlier in the week the finished first in Group D with a 1-1 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The US national team has only faced France twice with both games coming in 1979. The US lost 6-0 at Giants Stadium then fell again 3-0 in Paris.

First off, I must admit, this is as much a plausible wish-list as it is an attempt to decipher Klinsmann's plan.
