In Monday Veikkausliiga action, Josh Wicks and IFK Mariehamn took down Jaro in emphatic fashion.

IFK Mariehamn 5-2 Jaro

After five winless games in a row, Josh Wicks and Mason Trafford helped IFK Mariehamn bag a win against Jaro.

Wicks and Trafford both started and went the distance for Mariehamn.

In the ninth minute, Mariehamn got on the board when Irakli Siribiladze knocked the ball in his own net after a Konsta Rasimus shot.

Just moments before halftime, Sebastian Strandvall scored from the penalty spot, digging Jaro a deep hole.

In the 51st minute, a Mariehamn counterattack saw Rasimus find Toni Lehtinen for a goal. Then twelve minutes later Lehtinen found the back of the net in a similar counterattack situation.

Mattias Wargh was able to catch the Mariehamn offgaurd and scored Jaro's first goal of the game in the 64th minute.

The 72nd minute saw Simon Skrabb knock home a cross for Jaro, making the scoreline respectable, but Amos Ekhalie scored a fifth for Mariehamn in stoppage time, putting an exclamation point on a good night for the home team.

Jonas Emet and Strandvall received yellow cards for Mariehman while Nosh Lody, Jussi Aalto, and Tommi Haanpää were cautioned for Jaro. Tillmann Grove was given a red card for Jaro at the end of the first half.

Mariehamn next plays Inter Turku, while Jaro takes on JJK.
