CHRISTOPHER MCCOLLUM - Tuesday, October 25, 2011
Herculez Gomez and DaMarcus Beasley square off while Edgar Castillo and Michael Orozco try to get back on the field for Wednesday's Week 15 action.

Puebla - Estudiantes Tecos

Herculez Gomez will expect to see plenty of playing time as he leads Tecos into Puebla to face DaMarcus Beasley and company. Both Americans have been constant fixtures for their teams, with Gomez leading Tecos in scoring and Beasley leading Puebla in minutes per game.

Gomez is currently riding a goal scoring hot streak, scoring in his past five games. After his brace against Santos on Saturday he improved his distinction as the most efficient scorer in the Primera Division this season, now averaging one goal every 80 minutes of playing time.

After beating Santos in Week 14, Tecos rose to 11th place. Another win could see them jump as high as 6th.

Puebla's Week 14 loss to Toluca saw them drop to 15th place in the standings. A win could see them jump as high as 9th.

America - Santos

Edgar Castillo will hope to get back in the lineup after being left out during America's Week 14 loss to Chivas.

America sits in 16th place with 14 points after 14 games, and they will travel to Santos who currently sit deadlocked for 2nd place with Chivas. Santos will look to climb back to the top of the leader board with a win while America could use an upset to climb away from the relegation zone, where they sit only three points ahead of last place Atlas.

Santos will be without the services of Rodolfo Salinas due to red card, while America will be missing Adolfo Rosinei also due to red card suspension.

San Luis - Querataro

Michael Orozco looks to get back on the field for San Luis after sitting out in Week 14. San Luis' loss to Chiapas dropped them to 14th place, but in the clogged Primera Division, they are still only five points out of 4th.

Querataro is coming off of a 1-0 victory over Cruz Azul and will hope to use that momentum to steal an away victory against San Luis, which could see them move as high as 2nd place in the standings.

Jose Torres did not dress for Pachuca's Tuesday game against Morelia. Torres is still recovering from foot surgery.

Jonathan Bornstein, while making the matchday 18 for Tigres in recent weeks, was back off the radar in Week 14 and is not expected to feature against Chivas.

Daniel Antunez is not expected to dress for Estudiantes as they take on Puebla.

Adrian Ruelas is on loan from Santos to Chiapas, and is not expected to dress as they take on Tijuana.

Marco Vidal could see playing time as Club Leon takes on Altamira in second division action on Friday, October 28.
