CONCACAF today announced the schedule for the next round of 2014 World Cup qualifying and the US national team's dates are set.

The United States is in Group A with Jamaica, Antigua & Barbuda, and Guatemala. The top two teams from the group will advance to the final Hexagonal round beginning in 2013.

The US will open the qualifying campaign at home against Antigua & Barbuda on June 8. The US will then play Guatemala on the road on June 12.

World Cup qualifying will then take a break until the September international window when the US will visit Jamaica on September 7 followed by a home game against Jamaica on September 11.

In the October international window, the US will visit Antigua & Barbuda on October 12 and will close out the qualifying round on October 16 with a home game against Guatemala.

Can someone explain why the US plays Jamaica twice within a 4 day stretch? That's just stupid.

The results SHOULD be, WDWWWW though I wouldn't be suprise to see Jamaica make a game of it at home in which case WDDWWW. Onward to the Hex.
