US U-23 head coach Caleb Porter added UCLA midfielder Kelyn Rowe and Borussia Dortmund forward Terrence Boyd to the roster for the upcoming camp in Florida

Rowe is coming off a season in which he helped lead UCLA to the NCAA semifinals. He was named Pac-10 player of the year after scoring six goals to go along with 10 assists.

Boyd has been enjoying a strong season with Borussia Dortmund's U-23 team where he has scored 10 goals in 15 games. In October he made the matchday 18 for the defending Bundesliga champions in a league game.

For Rowe, this will be his first appearance with the US U-23 team. Boyd was part of the team's first camp in November and he scored goals in each of the team's two friendlies.

These guys needed to be added. Good.

I believe in Caleb Porter getting the job done in Olmp. Qf.

Nate & Gary -
Don't forget our U-20 coach....I always felt that Tab was the best #10 for the USMNT in our recient history. There are a number of up and coming #10 that will hopefully develop to make the question of who's best more complicated (Mix, Rowe, Renken, Gil, & that kid from the current U-17 squad). Here's to the potential for the future......

Love these additions.... Many of us were wondering how Boyd was left off the initial roster to begin with....

This is excellent news. Rowe is the best #10 I've ever seen in this country. And I don't take comments like that lightly.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
