Clint Dempsey looks to mirror his national team performance in Fulham's game against Wolverhampton, while Brad Friedel and Tottenham host Manchester United.

Fulham - Wolverhampton Wanderers

Clint Dempsey and Fulham take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in Sunday Premier League action. The Texan returns from national team duty and is expected to start for the Cottagers.

Dempsey scored the lone goal and game winner in the US win over Italy on Wednesday, and the ex-New England Revolution star will look to mirror that performance for Fulham.

The Cottagers have won two games straight in league play and could jump into the top half of the standings with a third straight win.

Fulham could be without Philippe Senderos, Andrew Johnson, and Orlando Sa.

Wolves go into the game struggling, having only won one game in their last 14 in all competitions. They are just one point above the relegation zone and are in dire need of three points.

Sébastien Bassong and Jody Craddock look to miss for Wolves.

Tottenham Hotspur - Manchester United

Brad Friedel and Tottenham Hotspur look to rebound after a tough loss last week as they take on Premier League powerhouse Manchester United.

Freidel is a regular starter and should be in the starting lineup for Spurs.

Tottenham lost to their cross-town rival Arsenal last week in embarrassing fashion, having lost 5-2. The defeat lowered the chances of catching United in the standings, but a win this weekend could be a major boost.

United is coming off a difficult win over Norwich City, where they had to rely on a stoppage time goal to grab victory.

Antonio Valencia looks to miss once again for United, while Spurs' William Gallas, Jermain Jenas, and Tom Huddlestone could miss as well.

Stoke City - Norwich City

Zak Whitbread and Norwich City take the road and play Stoke City in a Premier League clash.

Whitbread is a consistent starter this season and should be in the lineup once again this weekend.

The Canaries are coming off a difficult loss to Manchester United last week. Norwich thought they were going to finish the game with a draw, but Ryan Giggs scored a stoppage time goal to the delight of United.

They hope to get back to winning ways and improve upon their 8th place rank in the league standings.

Stoke beat Swansea City last week and trails the Canaries by just two points in the standings. They hope for the big win at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.

The Potters look to be without Mamady Sidibé, while Daniel Ayala, Declan Rudd, and Jonathan Howson are injury concerns for Norwich.

Queens Park Rangers - Everton

Tim Howard and Everton travel to London to take on Queens Park Rangers in a crucial league matchup.

Howard is a regular starter for the Toffees and should be in the lineup once again this Saturday.

The US international manned the pipes for the Americans' win over Italy on Wednesday and he looks to guide Everton to a win as well this weekend.

Everton is unbeaten in their last 7 games in all competitions and they hope to continue that streak against QPR.

Rangers have been in a downward spiral of late, not having won a game since January. They are above the relegation zone by just goal differential and will need a win to separate themselves from the pack.

Leon Osman and Jack Rodwell are injury concerns for Everton, while QPR's Dudley Cambell, Djibril Cissé, Kieron Dyer, and Alejandro Faurlin could miss.

Manchester City - Bolton Wanderers

Tim Ream and Bolton travel to play Manchester City in a matchup with two teams going in different directions.

Ream made his Premier League debut last week for Bolton and could see the field once again.

Bolton right now is in the relegation zone, just one point from safety. They lost to Chelsea last week but a win this week would be immense.

City is in first place in the Premier League, leading their cross-town rivals by just two points. They need the win to keep their spot at the top of the league.

Bolton's Stuart Holden continues to rehab after knee surgery and will miss. They will also miss Ricardo Gardner, Marcos Alonso, and Kevin Davies.

Birmingham City - Derby County

Jonathan Spector and Birmingham City host Derby County in a Championship clash.

Spector is a regular starter for the Blues and should be in the lineup once again this weekend. Conor Doyle is not likely to feature for Derby County.

The American defender is coming off a substitute appearance for the US national team in their win over Italy this Wednesday. He hopes to mirror his solid performance in league play.

City lost last weekend to Nottingham Forest in what has been a strong season for the Blues. They are in a playoff spot right now and hope for the win to solidify their place there.

The Rams have hit a tough spell of late and are winless in their last seven games. They hope to reverse their luck with a win this weekend.

Notts County - Carlisle United

Frank Simek and Carlisle United take on Notts County on the road this weekend in League One play.

Simek is a regular starter for the Cumbrians and he looks to be in the lineup once again on Saturday.

Carlisle is coming off a win over Yeovil Town and could get into a playoff spot with a win.

Notts County is tied with Carlisle in the standings with 49 points and they also look to make it into a playoff spot. They have only lost one game in their last six in all competitions.

Notes

Eric Lichaj hopes to make the game day roster in Aston Villa's game against Blackburn. Brad Guzan is likely to start on the bench for the Villains.

George John and Daniel Potts are not likely to feature in West Ham United's game against Cardiff City.

It is unlikely that Robbie Rogers sees the field for Leeds United in their game against Southampton.

Robbie Findley and Nottingham Forest take on Barnsley.

Anton Peterlin and Walsall take on Leyton Orient in League One action.

A big question for U.S. fans heading into the World Cup is surely on Jozy Altidore and just what is plaguing the young striker at Sunderland.
