CUNNINGHAM LOANED TO STABAEK
EXTRA TIME
BRIAN SCIARETTA - Monday, March 5, 2012
US U-20 left back Sean Cunningham has been loaned from Molde to fellow top-flight Norwegian club Stabaek or the remained of the season.

Sources to the player independently confirmed the terms of the loan to YA.

Cunningham signed with Molde in January 2011 out of high school. He played frequently with the club's reserve team and made appearances with the first team during cup matches. He suited up for the first team in league matches but never saw any minutes.

Molde won the Norwegian title last year and are expected to contend again so the club felt it was best to loan Cunningham to Stabaek where he can see first team minutes.

Stabaek finished in 10th place last season but have fallen on hard financial times. They loaned out American Mix Diskerud to Gent in Belgium but recently acquired US international Ricardo Clark on loan.
