PREVIEW: WEEKEND SWEDISH ACTION
RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
BRENDAN WIMBERLY - Saturday, April 28, 2012
Gregg Berhalter and Hammarby look to stay perfect while Brian Edwards and Degerfors will attempt to get their first points of the season.

IK Brage - Hammarby IF

Hammarby's American trio are yet to drop a point in the young Superettan season, winning their first three matches.

Gregg Berhalter has drawn praise for Hammarby's flawless beginning of the season and will look to continue the trend this weekend as they travel to face Brage.

Billy Schuler and Baggio Husidic are both likely to see the field for Berhalter's squad, but Hammarby faces injury concern with both Mikael Rynell and Sebatian Bojassen questionable for the match after picking up knocks against Brommapojkarna last week.

Vyacheslav Jevtushenko, Caio Mendes and Jesper Meden are all going to miss the match for Brage while Daniel Akervall is a matchday decision.

IF Brommapojkarna - Degerfors IF

Brian Edwards and Degerfors are still looking to gain some points this season and they face a stiff test against Brommapojkarna.

Brommapojkarna are trying to recover from a tough 3-1 defeat at Hammarby.

Edwards will be looking to better his own performance as he is tied for most goals allowed in the Superettan.

Neither squad is facing any restrictions in terms of injuries or suspensions.

Umea FC - Ljungskile SK

Umea host Patrick Hopkins and Ljungskile this weekend.

Ljungskile picked up their first point of the season last weekend when they drew Halmstad and are coming up against a Umea team who earned their first win of the season.

Patrick Hopkins is likely to start for Ljungskile while Steffen Vroom is a candidate for the starting 11, but may also start the match on the bench.

Neither team has any injury problems to speak of or suspensions.

Angelholm FF - Assyriska FF

Matt Pyzdrowski will start in net for Angelholm this weekend as they face a stiff test from Assyriska.

Lester Dewee is likely to once again be an attacking option off the bench for Angelholm as they're hoping to be the first team to take points from Assyriska.

Haris Laitinen is nursing an injury and will likely start the game from the bench for Assyriska.

Angelholm aren't reporting any injuries and neither side is facing any suspensions.

Notes

Cobi Span is still looking to gain fitness following an injury in preseason while his Djurgarden teammates host Kalmar.

Sam Petrone is unlikely to make the matchday 18 for Mjallbys clash with Helsingborg.
