Rhett Bernstein, Kyle Helton and Mjøndalen moved on to the third round of the Norwegian Cup Thursday night.
KFUM Oslo 0 - 2 Mjøndalen
After the home team dominated the early moments, Mjøndalen settled down and got the win over KFUM Oslo.
American defenders Kyle Helton and Rhett Bernstein started at right back and center back, respectively. Bernstein was substituted in the 87th minute.
KFUM Oslo seemed to use the home-field advantage early, enjoying the majority of possession, but was unable to get anything for it. Mjøndalen, meanwhile, bid its time.
That time came in the 68th minute. Anders Karlsen shot from a distance through a KFUM defender and over the goalkeeper. Knut Rønningene put the game away in the 84th minute,, when he headed in Stian Ohr's corner.
Mjøndalen returns to action Hødd on Sunday.
