BRIAN SCIARETTA - Saturday, May 12, 2012
It has been a disappointing season both on and off the field for the Rangers but it will finally come to an end on Sunday when they visit St. Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

Carlos Bocanegra was allowed to end his season early and has returned to the United States. Maurice Edu, however, is expected to start and Alejandro Bedoya could make the matchday 18.

Rangers currently sit in second place but there is little to play for as they are not allowed to participate in European competition next year due to the fact they are in administration.

Rangers have just one win in their last three and are coming off a 0-0 draw against Motherwell, a team that will take the Rangers spot in Europe next year.

St. Johnstone however have been awful and have just one point in their last six. They have lost four in a row.

In addition to Bocanegra, the Rangers will be without Dorin Goian, Salim Kerkar, and Kyle Lafferty.

St. Johnstone will have to play without Murray Davidson.
