BOYD SEARCHING FOR A NEW CLUB
PREVIEWS
EXTRA TIME
BRIAN SCIARETTA - Thursday, May 17, 2012
Borussia Dortmund forward Terrence Boyd will be with the United States national team soon but his club status is very uncertain.

Boyd, 21, has made the first team bench once this past Bundesliga season for Dortmund but did not see any minutes. Dortmund eventually won the title for the second straight year.

It now appears as if Boyd will not be back at Dortmund next year.

One rumor that has circulated in Germany has Boyd going to Eintracht Braunchweig but Boyd's agent Konstantin Liolios denies those reports. He did however confirm that negotiations are ongoing with several clubs.

"He won't change to Eintracht Braunschweig" Liolios told YA. "We are in negotiations with several clubs."

Earlier this week, Boyd tweeted that he will be with the US national team in May as they prepare for a series of friendlies followed by their first qualifying games for the 2014 World Cup.

First Agudelo transfers to Chivas in search of 1st team minutes and now (Hopefully) Boyd is doing the same. Both are young, talented players who should only get better with regular playing time. Hope Boyd's search lands him at a club where he will get consistent playing time (looking for a Mid table team in Bundas 1 or a Bundas 2 team poised for promotion). Hopefully both continue to develop and make life hard on JK's selection process.

I personally don't care who he plays for. As long as he's PLAYING (preferably for a 1st tier team).
I'm sure there are plenty of Bundesliga teams that would love to have a young kid with his talent.
Also how about Agudelo getting traded to Chivas? Great stuff if you ask me.

Good to hear that Boyd is getting a call up. His combination wih Shea for goal was probably the best play of the pre-olympic games. He is better off the ball than Wondo or any other MLS striker.
