FC Nurnberg and former US U-23 forward Jann George has been loaned to Slovakian Super Liga club FK Senica for the upcoming 2012/13 season.

George, 20, has one more year left on his professional contract with Nurnberg and last season he played with the club's U-23 team scoring nine goals in 23 games. He also saw significant time in central midfield as well as his natural forward spot.

"Jann [George] is player of the German team 1.FC Nurnberg," FK Senica press officer Marek Svatek told YA on Tuesday morning via e-mail. "He will stay in Senica for next year only for loan."

FK Senica finished last season in fourth place in the Slovakian Super Liga and due to Zilina winning both the Cup and the League, Senica will play in the qualification rounds of the 2012/13 Europa League.
